The National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) administers the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) to acknowledge laboratories for their technical qualifications & competence against the management & technical requirements in the International Standard, ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
The Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (ELAP) provides evaluation & accreditation ensuring quality of data used for compliance meets the standards of the State's drinking water, wastewater, and hazardous waste programs. As an ELAP-accredited lab, we have demonstrated the ability to analyze environmental samples using approved methods.

The official document used to track all the individuals that have possessed samples from the time it is collected to the time is analyzed. At ELN, the Chain of Custody also represents a request to perform services and the agreement to pay for the requested services upon completion.
